Ladder set against a gable during fascia and siding repair
Fix it before you paint it

Exterior Repair & Carpentry

Wood rot, damaged Hardie plank, tired fences and grimy siding, repaired properly so paint has something solid to hold onto.

What this covers

Our approach to Exterior Repair & Carpentry

Paint will not fix rot. We probe trim, fascia, window sills and door jambs for soft wood, then cut out and replace what has failed rather than caulking over it. Small repairs might be a single sill or corner board; larger ones can mean rebuilding a run of fascia or trim so the profile still matches the rest of the house.

We also repair and replace Hardie plank, from a couple of cracked boards to full sections, matching exposure and reveal so the patch disappears once it is primed and painted. Fences get repaired board by board or rebuilt outright, and pressure washing removes the chalk, mildew and dirt that keeps coatings from bonding.
